Dining Dollars
Dining Dollars are funds that are loaded directly onto your student ID with the purchase of a meal plan for use exclusively at on campus dining locations, including McGovern Dining Commons and Jay’s Nest. Unused dining dollars roll over from the fall to the spring semester but expire at the end of the academic year.
What should I do if I have food allergies or restrictions?
In McGovern Dining Commons we offer Simple Servings which is our allergen-safe, dining option for our customers with food allergies or gluten intolerance. This station offers food free from peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, wheat, soy, milk products, eggs, sesame and gluten-containing ingredients. We also offer dairy alternatives and certain gluten free products throughout McGovern, Jay's Nest, and McDonough Cafe. If you need help locating any of these items please ask, we're happy to help!

How do I purchase a meal plan?
Resident students are enrolled in a meal plan based on their housing assignment. Commuter students can purchase a meal plan HERE.
What are the terms of my meal plan?
- Weekly meal swipes run on a Sunday - Saturday schedule and reset on Sundays at midnight.
- Commuters may purchase additional plans within the same semester if needed.
- Unused meals do not transfer over to the next semester.
- All meal plans are non-transferable.
- If someone presents the ID of another student, we reserve the right to confiscate the ID and report the incident to Student Affairs.
Am I required to have a meal plan?
All students living on campus are required to have a meal plan.
- Students living in a traditional residence hall are required to maintain the All Access Meal Plan.
- Students living in suites have the option of selecting the All Access or Bronze Meal Plan.
